What I Believe |
I believe pain does not have to be a permanent state, though it may feel like it while you are in the throes of it. I believe the way out of pain is multi-faceted and different for every person. It is your Massage Therapist's job to help you find your best route for pain resolution and support you in creating space for the authentic long lasting kind of healing which is your birthright.

Honoring My Teachers |
Living in Hawaii and going to massage school there were both the learning opportunities of a lifetime. I want to honor my teachers for their wisdom, care, and love. Thanks to all of them, with special thanks to Kapono Sousa, my Lomi-Lomi teacher, Arturo Arroyo, my Chi Nei Tsang teacher, my Acupressure (and therein Traditional Chinese Medicine) teacher Josh Jensen, a Master of Acupuncture from World Medicine Institute
More recently I have learned Orthopedic Massage and Medical Massage from Gary Jones here in Arkansas, and Jeannie Staudt of Seattle, WA, Orthobionomy from Jim Berns in San Francisco, CA, Thai Massage from Nathan James of the Esalen Institute, Cancer in Massage from Linda Fehrs, Massage for Edema from Sharon Burch, and Peri-Natal Massage from Nurse-Midwife and MMT Janessa Craig, |
