There is life after sun...and after summer flip flops.Ah my poor sun-tattered skin. It feels much better now. I created this month's spa menu after nursing my very own Coppertone-Baby- level sunburn. I'm usually pretty careful to SPF up and not get burnt, but then I went on vacation to California, met a friend for lunch on a beautiful Pacific Coast beach, watched amazingly close to shore whales and sea lions, altogether had a magical day and spent hours rather than just lunch on a chilly but sunny beach. Yep. Got completely lobster-fied, did not even occur to me to put on sunscreen. So this menu contains some of the ways in which I pampered my skin post-burn, plus what I am currently doing for my own flip flop feet. Which were the worst, I gotta say. So I hope you can make it out for this month's special $70 for the whole enchilada, an hour long deeply hydrating, deeply exfoliating, deeply soothing and regenerating spa that just about everyone should treat themselves to after summer is done, just to keep summertime aging and drying to a minimum and start the school year fresh. Because that's what having #aftersunskillz is all about.
